Thanks the Applegate Inn is a great motel it's nice and clean and and that's where I stay whenever I have business in the Merced Atwater area the prices are reasonable and the staff is very pleasant and helpful and I recommend it to anyone who has got to be in the Merced Atwater area
This place it comfortable and nice it's a good place to stay if your on vacation or just stay there if you have a party
The Applegate Inn is the best place to get a room in Atwater. As far as I know it is the only actual hotel, motel or inn in all of Atwater. The Valley Inn may appear on some search sites but let me assure you that place is far from the days that it operated as an actual accommodation. I am not sure what the deal is with the permit/zoning etc but I will say that they do business with the county and provide services for the voucher programs. Applegate Inn is not one of those places. It is usually a quiet place to get a good night's sleep. The fact that the parking lot is shared with a Denny's is an added bonus. The CHP office is also on the same exit so the usual Denny's drama is kept to a minimum and mostly the weekend.
Really cool bedroom layout clean and the ac works great I am deffinatley staying again
