Family owned, very helpful and knowledgeable about all animals, also can special order fish or items they may not have in stock!!!
I feel so bad not remembering the guy's name, but this younger guy showed us their rats and was super informative about how to care for rats, telling us what type of food and attention they require and how often the store restocks so we could come at a more convenient time for us. We'll definitely come back again!
Been buying my dog's food here for years now. Great group of people that work here and the owners are wonderful. I feel like more than a customer, they make me feel like a friend. Won't go anywhere else!
Absolutely the best pet store around. Great customer service, will always special order if I need something they don't have in stock. My dog gives them two paws up!
I've always been in favor of supporting local merchants versus the big name stores when I can, but often that comes at a higher price on the products you buy. I haven't found that to be the case with Armstrong's though. Their prices and selections on big name and speciality foods are in line with what I've seen in the national chains of pet stores. Additionally they often have specials running in the store on the little extras we buy for our animal friends. These attractions and the staff's helpfulness and willingness to help with whatever they can, from information to coupons on select items, along with their frequent buyer program has cemented my business with them rather than the local mega petstore. They may be a little out of the way here in town, but for me it's worth the extra distance to drive.
