Very beautiful school and went there for my high school years great experience.
Staff are fantastic! Also, they offer a lot of programs at BCHS and I would personally recommend the K-12 dual enrollment program with Merced College if you want more challenging classes than IB or AP. The facilities are well maintained including the beautiful basketball gym. There are quite a few food options (specifically in the Cafeteria) and if you don't like the food options there is a taco truck about a mile away. However, the Staff are who make BCHS special because I haven't seen this level of spirit among the staff at the other High Schools I've visited.
Very well temperature controlled. Lots of space, and fully furnished. There are lots small plants and shrubbery which makes for nice scenery and ambiance. They have a few good sports teams, and it is not too expensive to get into the games. The food sold here is absolutely awful. $3 is overcharging for the small tastless portions they give you. $2 for what they gave you last year was a stretch, but this year, the portions are smaller, and more pitiful. The facilities would get five stars, but the food drops it by two. The only major thing that could be improved in the facilities is putting dividers between the urinals in the men's restroom. As it is now, the middle two are never used because of lack of privacy.
I was a student from beginning to end and every year I was surrounded by super nice teachers and staff. I wish every kid could go here. A big shout out to all the teachers! 2014 grad student Austin Sabla
I can't share experience I haven't been there all I've done is drive by it's a high school I have no reason to go there it's a place where kids get educated at you have no business there unless you have kids there I will say this there is a police car out front all the time that is your warning
